Yahl Primary School operates in the context of a range of policies and procedures. Some of these are mandated by the Department for Education, while others have been designed to reflect the specific needs of the school and approved by the Governing Council.
Policy statements outline the obligations and commitments of the school, while procedures outline the specific process to be followed to meet these obligations and commitments.

School Attendance Policy
The purpose of this policy and procedure is to clearly outline the legislative requirements and obligations of the school and parents/care givers in respect to school attendance.
School Uniform Policy
The purpose of this policy is to clearly outline the school’s expectations and the obligations of students, parents/care givers in respect to the wearing of the approved school uniform.
School Grievance Policy and Procedure
The purpose of this policy and procedure is to clearly outline the process to be followed by students and parents/care givers if they wish to make a complaint about some aspect of the Yahl Primary School educational experience.

Anti-Bullying Policy and Procedure

Play Area Behaviour Policy and Procedure

Volunteer Policy and Procedure
The purpose of this policy and procedure is to clearly outline Yahl Primary School’s commitment to their highly valued volunteers, and the processes to be followed by individuals who wish to become a school volunteer.
